Set the scene.
Born in London in 1959, Borg moved to Malta as a teenager. Back in London, she worked in advertising and for Decca Records before studying at Camberwell.
Here’s the twist.
In 1988 she settled in Floriana and established her home studio. A studio need not be a grand building: a domestic space can become a place for experimentation.
Why it still matters.
She completed a University of Malta art-history master’s degree in 1994 and began teaching the following year. Making, studying and teaching art became connected parts of her career.
