Designed by Joseph Mizzi of San Lawrenz, this chapel was blessed in July 1963. Its age puts it close to the end of British rule.

A reinforced-concrete canopy shelters the entrance. Inside, the rectangular room has a flat textured roof, rather than the curves of an older baroque church.
Why it still matters.
Ninu Apap painted its main altarpiece in 1989. Try comparing roof shapes when you visit churches: modern religious architecture can tell a very different visual story.
